- A safe baby room is not too hot, but not too cold either.
Experts recommend a temperature between 16°C and 20°C. 18°C is the ideal room temperature.
- Ventilate the room sufficiently: about 10 minutes a day is great.
- The baby room should not have too many toys near the cot.
Your baby needs to settle down here without too much distractions.
- Choose blackout curtains to avoid your baby waking up at the crack of dawn or struggling to get to sleep during the day.
In summer, blackout curtains also keep out the heat better.
